About me (Lara Goodrich Ezor)

In every yoga class, I encourage an exploration and embrace of the present moment.

As a voracious student of yoga, I strive to teach the type of classes that I want to take — grounding, compassionate, invigorating, and rooted in the here and now. I believe in taking this powerful practice — of paying close attention, taking deep breaths, and allowing for an upswell of gratitude — off of the mat and into our daily lives.

I hope you’ll join me.

My Yoga Teaching & Experience

In 2012, I wandered into O2 Yoga in Massachusetts with a tired body and very anxious mind. For years, I worked the front desk in exchange for free yoga, and found that the practices of breathing deeply, challenging my body (kindly), observing my thoughts without attachment, and settling into rest were quietly and slowly transformative.

I received my 200-hour training through Carolina Yoga Company in 2017, and jumped into teaching full-time. In 2020, I completed my 85-hour Prenatal Yoga certification through Blue Point Yoga, and welcomed my first child (and my second in 2022).

With over 1,500 hours of teaching experience (E-RYT 200; YACEP), I have happily discovered that every practice, every moment, and every breath is unique. It is an honor to share them with you.
